i’ve never been a lover of coach bags, but they have been consistent and somewhat fairly priced. but lately i find them too brash and tween-ish.

this large garnet bag ($498) that i played with in the store looked appealing at first, but the handles dont work; they are too long. the bag is too bulky to comfortably fit under the arm, but the handles are too long to be considered top handles. it was awkward.

these bags are $1200-1400. this is coach, not valentino!

store display: who wants the sequin vest and gaudy red patent leather sneakers?

i daresay coach has jumped the shark.

of course their stuff is geared towards tweens! thats where the market is now. look at vera bradley!
i also think they make gaudy products because they CAN. they have a high class brand they are selling and now-a-days i guess the actual “class” part doesn’t matter.
what a sad day for fashion.

Since when is Coach’s price point so high? And OMG, I totally just found your postcard from Dream Sequins’ exchange. It was stuck in one of my books. EEK! Thanks so much!
